The Forest Five (mile) race series was started in 2009 as part of the fundraising efforts for the new Orion clubhouse at Jubilee Retreat.

Jubilee Retreat was opened in September 2011, so registration for 2012 races will be taken there instead of the Royal Forest Hotel/Hunting Lodge location of previous years. Entries can be made in advance or on the day (for £2 extra).
Having a home base means we will now give numbers out on the day at Jubilee Retreat. You can still receive your number by post if you wish by enclosing SAE with entry form. We will also have a modified '3 race special' on the day entry. See below.
A reduced rate is offered for the 3 race series and there are age category trophies for best aggregate time for the series. SW W35 W45 W55 SM M40 M50 M60
There are no prizes/trophies for the first 2 races. The 3rd race in the series is also Orion's home fixture in the ELVIS competition. There are trophies for this race, as above, plus 2nd and 3rd SW and SM. Also 1st Women's and Men's Teams (4 to score)
